Pets
- Requirements demanded of each pet:
- Health Certificate for Exportation for Small Animals (dogs, cats, ferrets) issued by the
Health Authority from the country of origin. It has to certify that the pet is healthy and has
been vaccinated for rabies and dated for dogs/cats three (3) months of age and older.
Ferrets 14 to 16 weeks of age This has to be either stamped or sealed by the Panamanian consulate or with the ¨Aposille¨ from the government in the country of origin issued no longer than 30 days before arrival.
- Health Certificate for Exportation for Small Animals (dogs, cats, ferrets) shall have been
legalized by the Apostille of the recognize authority or authenticated by the Panamanian
Consulate from the country of origin.
- Proceedings of the paperwork for quarantine:
- The fee of quarantine is $130.00 USD per each animal.
