ID Cards
- Crew member identity cards are issued to airline crew, including pilots. The cards must be worn at all times to identify that the person is a crew member of a legitimate airline.
- The crew member identity card will display a picture of the crew member, along with their name, identity number, issue date, date of birth, and their signature.
Crew Member General Declaration Form
- This document is only necessary for international flights. It includes details of the crew, aircraft registration number, and itinerary. Copies must be given to the airport authorities and customs departments at each airport at which the aircraft lands, including the departure airport and final destination.
Crew Member Certificate/Licence
- Crew Member Certificates are issued to airline pilots and cabin crew members to facilitate their movements at ICAO member state airports. They are credit card sized and compliant with ePassport readers at airport entry points.
- The card is bound to a specific airline and is not transferable. Crew members who change airline are required to apply for a new Crew Member Certificate.
- Cards are issued or validated by the country in which the aircraft is registered, and are only issued to crew members 18 years of age or older.
